Organizations are welcome to apply for a Rotary Club Community Grant.
Applicants must meet ALL of the following minimum criteria:
  • Charitable - Grants must be used for a charitable purpose by an organization that is clearly philanthropic in nature. The organization is not required to be a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Contributions are not made to individuals or for activities that are promoting specific religious or political viewpoints.
  • Local - Grants must be used within the Morgan Hill Community as defined by the boundaries of the Morgan Hill Unified School District.

Other Useful Information:

In addition to the minimum criteria for Community Grants, the Rotary Club of Morgan Hill has identified focus areas for funding projects that will benefit:

Youth - Seniors - Education - Community Benefit

The Morgan Hill Rotary Club has its own scholarship program. Therefore, Community Grants will not be awarded for scholarships to educational institutions.

The Rotary Club of Morgan Hill desires to utilize community grants to achieve the greatest possible impact over a broad range of charitable projects each year. To do this, we have most often awarded grants for individual projects ranging from $250 to $1,000. Although we will consider any request based on its merits, organizations should consider this when applying. Remember, organizations may make separate applications for more than one project or combine a Community Grant with other funding sources for larger projects.

Applications are accepted throughout the year and reviewed by our Charitable Giving Committee.
Expect up to 1-2 months for review and notification. Please plan accordingly.
